I was on Synthroid and got worse. I was told that I just needed to take more! I was gaining weight despite everything I did. I was depressed, anxious, and angry! Armour was better, but it still wasn't the answer. Now I am 50, I'm 20 pounds overweight, apple shaped, and hormonal! If I can't find a doctor who isn't offended by my research and knowledge and who isn't willing to work WITH me (it is MY body, after all), then I will self treat. Deal with it.
