Symptoms have remained each day. Have seen many doctors, including 2 endocrinologists, and always told to see a Psychiatrist. I did, and I'm now on 8 meds. Just keeps a lid on, with 2 hospitalizations. Finally, found a holistic Chiropractor, had the saliva test, and found very elevated cortisol. Now beginning treatment. Your articles have been so helpful in reassuring me that there can be healing. Also, no one ever heard of the terrible burning inside, so reading your experience of the same symptom, tells me I'm not crazy. (One doctor said I had acid reflux. Puuulease!) Thank you, thank you. I want to thank you for the STTM site, and the opportunity to moderate in the forums from the very beginning. This change truly is bittersweet. I'm sad that we're finished with the forums here, but starting anything new is exciting! I'm glad that you will now have time for yourself! And I do look forward to additions to STTM--you've been doing a GREAT job!!! I knew I couldn't be the only person fighting this battle. I haven't won the battle yet either, but I'm winning more and more skirmishes with my doctor. Sad thing is, I'm not just fighting for myself now, I'm fighting for two of my children too who have both been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Thank you thank you thank you for providing more ammunition that wasn't just me trying to describe how I felt and how I just knew it was thyroid related even if it didn't match what their bloodwork showed! :) I just want to thank you for all the information contained here.
