have a question, am new to this site-I had graves for years had partial thyroidectomy 30 years ago, about 10 years ago had I131 treatment. have never felt the same since am on levoxyl 137mcg now, am wondering about T3 & T4 how can I convert T4 w/o any thyroid gland? have been to endos & primary care DR says my blood tests are w/i normal ranges. I have many of symtoms listed on stop the madness site. I have read so much & don’t really understand alot of it, can’t really get ANY answers from Drs & have seen can anyone help me?

David Lawson on sttm forum has been a fabulous help to to me and lot’s of other people. Although I’m only supposed to mention one person. Guiber Meckler Garcia gave me the wake up call I needed, to bring my appointment forward with Dr Skinner and insist on Armour, I was on thyroxine at the time and felt dreadful. I am now on thyroid S since Armour was reformulated and feel like a different person.

Thanks to my doctor who argues with me yet will write a script to my specs (thank you Janie for that help on your blog) so I can obtain natural desiccated thyroid meds whether compounded or through Erfa.

So glad to find this information. My doctor, who was treating my FM and low thyroid conditions aggressively with Armour Thyroid, has been shut down by the state medical board for not following strict TSH guidelines. Your site is a wonderful source for alternative solutions.
